Just remember, don’t type “Google” into Google or you will break the Internet.

Well, there are infinitely more blog and conspiracy sites than newspapers. Can’t trust any newspaper even though you might find some better than others and a few authors you can come to know and respect. Might be a few bloggers who are good, but the vast majority are totally unknown and many are absolute nutcases and or snake oil salesmen.

Newspapers are costly to establish and run and maintain any kind of reputation. Anyone with an opinion or a conspiracy theory can start a blog. Free.

Not that that’s bad.

“It depends on what the definition of “is” is.”

It depends on what the definition of conspiracy is.

It depends on what the definition of conspiracy sites is.

Who decides which sites are conspiracy sites or good or bad blog sites?

Maybe we should have an “approved” list?

Yes. That would upset the Lords of the Internet.

The BEST source of information is ALL SOURCES.

I can decide for MYSELF what to believe.

Many of the conspiracy sites label themselves as such.

As a domain owner myself, I am startled how easy it is for those who have no skin in the game to suggest strict micromanagement and censorship.

I support the mission of the FR and would fight like hell to keep it up to help save the Republic. But I am not sure folks understand how it works when you start micromanaging and censoring too hard. They are not putting themselves in the shoes of the domain.

Members leave and never come back. It is just not productive or in a domain’s interest to run all their users off. Without contributions and participation the domain ceases to exist.

In which case these who supported the censorship have nothing left to complain about because there will be nothing left to censor. They are stepping on their own feet thinking like this. Cause and effect is real.

Microphones in lights, that's so last century. The modern day surveillance equipment are Siri, Alexa, and Facebook hidden in plain site.

Exactly. It makes you wonder if he really believes Biden won the election without fraud.

The contrails, I almost forgot! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I wonder if 10 years from now the same will be said about Q.

Another amen.
Critical thinking skills are survival tools these days.

Also a periodic review of scientific method decide whether a discussion involving “science” is valid, propaganda, just opinions, to support policy. Policy has zero bytes of data in real science.

Yes, so true. Yet we are constantly bombarded here with dubious “studies” that supposedly “prove” preposterous claims that the vaccines contain itty bitty razor blades and wiggly worm-like “parasites” and give you AIDS (and malaria!) and so forth. When you point out it would require thousands upon thousands of people all over the world to be in on such a conspiracy, they insist it would only take “one or two”. I kid you not.

Vaccines are batch checked by lab workers before leaving the manufacturer, then again upon receipt at the distributor. Every country conducts batch checks upon receipt of vaccines manufactured outside their borders. So, all these lab workers are seeing these little worms and whatnot and keeping mum about it? What about all the lab workers all over the world peering through their microscopes at blood samples from vaccinated people? Keeping quiet about the big ol’ malaria parasites and little wormies smimming about and the tiny razor blades, too?

I could go on and on, but have already been too long here, except to say this. I remember the old days and the contrails. Back then, contrail posts did not fill up a goodly portion of the page when you came to FR, and the contrail nuts did not constantly post on other threads about them, nor did they form annoying bully mobs to insult and try to drive away everyone who disagreed with them. FR did not turn into Contrails Central, not by a long shot.

Finally, we can stand up to tyranny and question the “official narrative” and the MSM more effectively with reason rather than nutty conspiracy theories about tiny razor blades and wriggling parasites, etc.

Agree completely. For me, FR was a forum for smart people to express rationale thought and reasoning. It seems more tinfoil hat of late.

An option is to ban the most egregious sources from being posted, like, https://dailyexpose.uk/

Some highlight articles from their homepage today:

“Every single Covid-19 Vaccination is a Vote for the new Global Dictatorship”

“Austria is Hiring Hitmen to Track Down Covid-19 “Vaccine Refusers””

“New Zealand Government to Pay Doctors to Euthanise Covid-19 Patients”

“Nano-Technology in Covid Injections – It’s for Communications, It’s Technological Parasitism”

“Zinc... Helps Our Body Detox from Graphene”

How about this oldie but goodie, where smart Freepers pointed out this “Dr.” Young was a convicted scam artist (with arrest records going back to the 1990s) and had also twice been convicted of practicing medicine without a license?

"From our things you should've learned in school dept:

That's gonna leave a mark.
