Zero religious exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine have been granted to date, Marine Corps spokesman says.
U.S. Marines are being "crushed" by President Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate as thousands face dismissal for their continued refusal to get the shot, several active-duty Marines told Fox News Digital.
To date, 169 Marines have been discharged for refusing the vaccine, and thousands more face the same fate after the Department of Defense’s mandate on all active-duty service members went into effect for the Marine Corps on Nov. 28.

Several Marines who refuse to get the shot were granted anonymity by Fox News Digital, so they could speak freely. They said they are witnessing a "political purge" by the Biden administration that is forcing out the military’s "best and brightest" over deeply held beliefs they say are protected by the First Amendment.
"There’s something fundamentally wrong at this point with our nation’s leadership," said a major with more than 17 years of active service. "We are facing an unconstitutional edict that I think is very targeted as a political purge, taking out some of the best and brightest soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and guardians from the Space Force."

I have posted that often. The mandates are a purge of all those who wont be blindly obedient storm trooper types.
Seems like the followers of Him who said, “Greater love than this has no man,that he lay down his life for his friends” (Jn15:13) would make ideal military personnel. I want them guarding my flank and maybe even jumping on a grenade for a soldier or a unit. Our leaders are too stupid to even consider this. Oh well, sleep with one eye open, woke soldiers.

I am betting that this is all about the draft.
I’ve been believing, since they allowed women to fight in the field that they want to bring back the draft, because they are planning a major war in the near future. By bringing back the draft, they can make women, men, gays, transgenders, foreigners, illegals, all be forced to serve in the military.
Near as being defined as within our lifetime.
It may also be a back door way of subjugating the US into an international order.
If I were a Marine I’d take the opportunity to get the hell out of the Corps before the morons in DC wag the dog me to death in the South China Sea or Ukraine.
In destroying the U.S. military the vaccine mandate is serving the goal of the Demonicrat Party.

Are the discharged military allowed to bear arms?
There is a silver lining here. Ever since the new regime came to power they have been purging the enlisted ranks. Using the vaxx, the supremist or domestic terrorist BS, the military is cutting the Marine who joined to protect country and constitution. Their loss is our gain! The major job of the national guard and perhaps, with this illegal regime, the Marines could soon be suppressing very pissed offed ex marines, working with you and me, to protect our country and constitution from this regime.
The decrepit old fool is purging the military of dissenters, Republicans, and Christians who don’t accept his dictatorship.
Given America’s deep-state is trying to protect a global neo-con empire and involving itself in conflict literally all over the world - one would think someone would see the danger of putting the USA’s military through a political purge.
Yes, except State's National Guard is also controlled by the DC deep-state/Pentagon.
I would think it depends on how they are discharged.
Administrative Discharge probably yes.
Undesirable or Dishonorable...I don’t know.
Again, all the more reason to have the purged marines and national guard members out of their ranks and into ours.
