Another day, another whiny leftist assault on American institutions, this time using the United States Constitution as cover.
A professor of politics named John Kenneth White has penned an opinion piece for The Hill titled “The Constitution isn’t working.” It’s an odd article because White actually gets a couple of things right at the beginning but eventually veers off into a boilerplate regurgitation of the leftist fever-dream wish list: nuke the Electoral College, JANUARY 6, reform the filibuster…yeah he had a ghostwriter from the Democratic National Committee working with him on this.
...
Professor Deep Think here is leading with the fact that the Constitution isn’t working because those tasked with making it work are failing it. Something I can agree with to a point, especially when it comes to Congress and the fact that our legislators have been punting their duties to the executive branch for decades now.
Here’s the thing though: he only takes issue with Republicans.....

The freakin’ covid shots aren’t working either but I don’t hear anybody lobbying to get rid of those.
Also, check my tagline
our constitution was created precisely to defend against lunatics like John Kenneth White who want to abolish both our constitutional rights, and our inalienable rights-
The Constitution isn’t supposed to “work”.
It presents a framework to be followed.
Perhaps it could be followed better.
It’s been largely ignored since the 1930s.
Put diesel in your gas tank long enough….
Or at all!
The flaw in the Constitution is democracy. Only free people can use their power to vote to destroy their own country. The Democrats will correct that vulnerability.
Hindering government is what the Constitution is intended to do. So if government is being hindered then yes, thankfully, it is working just fine.
Constitution as designed hasn’t been in effect since the Wilson administration when the precursors of the Deep State were set in motion.
Taking an oath to uphold the US Constitution is what is not working, nor holding treasonous traitorous oath breakers accountable.
We recently had a pResident who thought this same way
He was just more clean and articulate than this guy about it
My issue with this statement is that I strongly believe that the problem is that Congress writes its laws IN WAYS that ENABLES the unelected regulators! Granted they are legally apportioned to the Executive but in our Kafka-esque reality, the Presidency and the line-authority deriving from that office, has little control over these career bureaucrats and THEIR agendas. Thus when Congress 'writes a law', or more factually, when Congress, Staff & Lobbyists write a law / legislation, it comes to the regulators to be 'fleshed out' foe enforcement.
This is what Trump faced with insufficient support [examples: Speaker Ryan, AG Sessions] and the total hostility from this very real Regulatory State. These bureaucrats, having built their careers in growing their power, were then and now totally resistant to any challenge to their positions.
Witness the utterly logical move of portions of the US Department of Agriculture to Kansas City. Results to date? Multiple transfer of personnel to other departments, continuing protests with much claim of COVID hardships.
Isn’t working because the sh*t calling themselves “americans” are too ****ing stupid too make it work. They think they are the smartest humanoids ever to live on da planet because they know how to operate a cell phone. Unfortunately, they are wrong. Idiots.
When the people elect foreign freeloader “refuge” America-haters to Congress, it does make it difficult to use the Constitution to run the country. The sh*tbirds want “free” stuff and the Commie Lib’s “race card” now rules the country.
Refuge =”refugee” .
The Constitution works just fine when it’s followed.
Your tagline would make a great bumper sticker!
The Constitution works just fine.
The problem is, we stopped using it in 1918.
