So true.
As usual after a really wet winter the Dept. of Drought will be renamed to the Dept. of Flood Control.
Reminds me of “The night before Christmas” in Ebonics....

Hello all- I’m a freeper from the class of 1998... but- I lurked from 1998-2000, before I registered.
I am 64 years old and I am shoveling snow for $25 an hour in Mammoth, CA. I could care less about the wages, except for the fact that I enjoy the physical work out and the chance to see if my heart holds up, (so far so good) and I am helping my summertime employer wherein I am a ferry boat captain.
We are fast running out of space for where to put the snow.
The ski resort has been shooting 80mm mortar rounds into the mountains to dislodge snow that might otherwise cause avalanches. After spending 40 months in Iraq and Afghanistan, friendly rounds are kind of cool.
We have had 2 years of drought and fire, that sucked, MAJORLY... (if that is an actual word) and this tempest is WELCOMED!
That haven’t renamed Squaw Valley yet? They renamed Squaw Peak in Phoenix for a Native American woman who died in Iraq.
I forgot they were doing that. How original. Those of who are good with geography will first think of the borough Palisades Park, New Jersey or Palisades Park (Santa Monica), California.
when all this melts in the spring.
And they’ll remove her statue from Disneyland; too!
Aren’t palisades built to keep the indians at bay?
Now a days kids dont get it
Where in those mountains does a ferry boat take people? Hope your back holds out as well as your heart!
