Truth be told, I don't know. Speaking for myself, I see this as ultimately a spiritual matter. I put my trust in Christ Jesus and wait either for His return or to be called home.
In the meantime -- however long that may be -- I have little hope that things will get better. Maybe a bit better. For a time perhaps. But for man, wallowing in his vain philosophies, the long term prognosis is, shall we say, quite poor.
covid cases ‘are soaring’ when practically everyone in the usa has either had covid already, or been vaccinated? We are 2 years on now- how are cases still ‘soaring’?
Apple will weather this storm just fine. The people who were looking to work in the retail market in NYC... not so much.
For a company so concerned with the environment, they have very little concern for the retail ecosystem.

Here’s the thing: I got covid on Christmas day (I took a home test to confirm) and am now recovered (2 and 1/2 days later).
The last thing anyone would want to do with a 100.6 degree fever and sleeping all day is to go to an Apple store.
By the time a covid-infected person would want to do that, they would be recovered. That is all. . .

They haven’t banned all shoppers.
People who purchase online can still come into the store to pick up their purchases.
