They’re just throwing all types of sh!t at the wall to see what sticks - but I believe the true goal of these schemes is to prevent the obviously-illegal preferential hiring/promotions/school admissions from being overturned in the courts. They don’t expect more recent radical plots to be allowed; they expect us to simply be grateful that preferential hiring is the only thing left (and accept it).
