“sure, i know there’s a lot of fear out there (look at the post where asymptomatics are jamming emergency rooms because of their covid positive at home tests), but in this case i don’t think so. i think that women in the article may have permanent organ damage.”

Yeah, but we can’t be considering individual cases and situations, it’s important to politicize everything, group everyone together, and create labels and memes, this is America 2021 (for now).
Thank you, BusterDog for injecting a little sanity into the discussion.
Never vaxxed. Had COVID early on, hospitalized twice. Scarred up lungs, damaged kidneys, depleted endocrine system.
Not f’n psychosomatic. My chest xrays and scans, my blood labs and 6 meds a day, the stack of medical bills and lost days of my life...it sucks!
I was 54 when this hit, an active wife and mother of 3 kids who summer before had spent two weeks trekking across Italy.
But the worst are the FReepers who presume everyone that got COVID had to be vaxxed or is pushing the vax, or had underlying medical issues, or...loving this new twist...it is all in my head.
Ironic how we applaud ourselves for resisting the mind-think propaganda, only to be purveyors of it here.
COVID hits everyone differently. In my house, I had it first and the worst, my husband and oldest son didn’t even get the sniffles, and my two youngest sons were sick with the flu for a few days. In my building were people who were deathly ill, hospitalized, sick for two weeks, sick for a few days, or never sick at all. I had staff and owners with relatives that died from it.
I could see all sides, understand all sides, because of it.
Good grief, critical thinking has gone completely out the window lately!
All sorts of diseases can have long term effects, especially on the frail; but America has, up to now, refrained from allowing them to destroy its quality of life. What’s changed?
