I appreciate your sentiment, but I’m not sure how I feel about being treated like a child.
Too old to fight, too old to run, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a plan.
It’s not infantilizing seniors. The law would be because of the level of vulnerability of the victims.
My father has dementia. He is capable of doing transactions as they come along, but he no longer has the ability to really react to his environment. So, I can take him the pharmacy to buy his meds and he could pay for them, but he’s past the point of requesting any particular meds.
If he had been in this place of business, it would have been all to easy for this criminal to knock my father out, because he’s past that point of being able to defend himself.

By that standard — with which I agree — there are several governors, a herd of unelected bureaucrats and a bunch of “medical experts” led by you-know-who who should be held without bail on such a charge.
I hate to admit this, but as a mother, if anyone did that to my kid, I would have tossed the kid over the pharmacy counter for them to take care of and chased the monster, grabbing some heavy objects from the shelves as I went to throw at his freaking head, while screaming like a banshee. I raised my kid in a tough neighborhood, and was known to do things like that, as were most of the moms around there.

I disagree that there are demons is these scum. One need not invoke the supernatural - vicious amoral thugs are a product of the black inner city culture where the politicians and media constantly tell them that whites are the cause of all their troubles, that they deserve “reparations”, etc. the situation is exacerbated by prosecutors who charge whites with trumped up charges and let blacks go free. One remedy that comes to mind is more widespread concealed carry where the thugs receive instant justice. Recidivism is greatly reduced by a couple of rounds to the center of mass.
Our daughter worked in a Walgreen’s pharmacy and we always worried because of the robberies, homeless etc. They were training her to be a manager and were sending her to some inner city stores.
She applied for a job at a large insurance company while working PT at Walgreens. Thankfully the insurance company hired her right before Thanksgiving. I remember my dad stating that when she sees that she gets holidays off with pay, she’ll quit Walgreens. She did.
I blame BLM, Naxine Waters, Al Sharpton and all who speak like they do and the entire media for promoting such personalities which light the fires of racial hatred of “minorities” toward other “races” and anyone assumed as “successful”. The totally ignorant are educated by the media to believe the worst in everybody else, justifying both simple bad behavior and criminality as “justified”.

Heck, long ago right after my honeymoon I ended up in the face of an entitled woman from the hood in her gold-laced Lexus when she started after my dad over some misunderstanding in the parking lot. That was basically words over my father.

Inner city blacks, as well as many other blacks in other areas, have been taught this is appropriate behavior since no consequences ensue. They’re entitled to act out their frustrations against white privilege.
