Herd immunity without prosecution for refusal to be vaccinated — Putin on COVID

MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. The level of herd immunity against coronavirus may achieve 80% in Russia by the second quarter of 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at his annual year-end press conference on Thursday.

No "prosecution measures" should be imposed for the refusal to receive the vaccine, as "action force is always equal to reaction force," the president said emphasizing that it is necessary to patiently explain why immunization is essential and to encourage people to receive the vaccine. The president is convinced that the politicians who oppose vaccination are merely trying to earn "cheap points on the nation’s health."

TASS has summarized Putin’s key statements on the pandemic:

No one should be prosecuted in Russia for refusing to receive the vaccine.

Look at how Western Europe and Australia are behaving. With allies who treat their populations so shabbily why do we need to have Russia as an enemy?

That moment when you realize in some respects Russia...Russia is less tyrannical than your own government. SMDH... How did it come to this?

Russia is less tyrannical than your own government.

It's also less fanatical in promoting perversions.

The question answers itself. Too bad Putin can’t run for office here.

“”action force is always equal to reaction force,”

He’s called a tyrannical, evil, madman, but I’ve got to tell you; a wise man made that statement.

In many ways.

Go four wheeling in the wrong place here, even on your own property, and you risk a $5000 fine from the wetland police.

In Russia, have at it!

Russia isn't destroying their oil and gas industry.

Russia isn't forcing electric cars on their people.

You won't be fired for using the wrong pronouns there.

You won't be sued for not baking a cake there.

And many more.

It crosses my mind from time to time that Russia might be a better place to live that US will be an a couple of years.

Like Chili...couple young men from there were warned by their father before arriving that though Chili doesn’t have the Political freedoms the US does that Chili has more Personal freedom ...that they needed to be very careful what they say.

It’s looking like the same could be said of Russia....much more personal freedom than the US. Here you get banned off social networks, sued for anything, and basically little justice.

Because Russia continues to aid enemies of this country, like Iran, and threatens its neighbors. I would caution against anointing Putin as the 2nd coming of Thomas Jefferson.

My point is we don’t need to go to war with Russia. I wasn’t speaking of Putin in particular.

Putin is a nationalist.

After the coup here in the states, not many nationalists left holding high office.
