I do believe it was not intentional, but I also believe she still should go to prison for it.

She pulled the right weapon and did what she was trained to do in a precarious situation like that. Her only mistake was verbalizing the wrong commands as she did it. She actually had justification to stop the threat with a firearm if need be.
