That was one of the possibilities.

There’s 3 error codes, all having to do with evap/emissions type stuff.

Wonder if I could get a new gas cap?

The poor old car is 20 years old now.

Try a new gas cap.
The seals get worn or leaky as they get old. Like us... lol.

Before I bought this 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Supercharged HEMI V8, I had a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, which I kept in pristine condition, serviced regularly, but it had 395,000 miles, 2 engines, 2 transmissions, 5+ sets of brakes, 3 suspensions, and 6+ replacement gas caps, in 17yrs.
