Variants of coronavirus were known for years before the COVID-19 Wuhan virus showed up, and they all responded the same to a combination of zinc ion and a Zn++ ionophore, taken at a timely response to the first signs of a head cold - sniffles, stuffy nose, coughing, sinus pain. Over-the-counter medications like Zicam, Airborne, and Cold-Eeze had good effectiveness in shortening the duration of the cold, and once the symptoms passed, there seemed to be a residual effect of no more colds for a while.
This COVID-19 virus omicron variant, apparently somewhat more contagious than the common cold coronavirus infections, has symptoms on the same order as most other coronavirus nasal infections, and is for the most part self-limiting, as the antibody count in the blood serum builds up. It may seem hopeless, but never serious.
You want to kill coronavirus throughout your home? Acquire an ozone generator, plug it in and set the timer for about three hours, and let it go to work. Now while the ozone generator is operating, get all the plants, pets, children and yourself out of the room, and close the door. Once it runs through its timed cycle, give it about a half-hour or so, for the remaining ozone to disperse, before it is safe to re-enter the room. Any insect life, mold spores, bacteria, and virus particles will be rendered inactive and/or dead. Ozone is a highly activated form of oxygen, the second most corrosive element in the universe, exceeded only by fluorine, which is almost impossible to keep in its elemental form, as it combines with almost EVERYTHING, including the inert “noble” gases, neon, xenon, and krypton.
Or as an alternative, the exposure of surfaces to UV-C light, for periods up to two or three minutes, destroys all virus particles or bacteria on those surfaces. But it also destroys the retina in your eyes, and to some degree, any body surface exposed during the time it is emitting. So again, close the door at all times while the light is on, and only enter after the light is shut off. But unlike ozone, the UV-C light only affects the surfaces it falls upon, and does not penetrate into fibers and enclosed or shaded places, and it has no residual effect.
