Putin asskissers start with the premise that Russia has a right to control all the countries around it, and those countries, including NATO countries such as Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, daring to take a defensive posture is an unmitigated provocation of Russia.

Canada and Mexico have no reason to fear any kind of violent action from the United States. Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, on the other hand, have all been invaded and brutally occupied by Russia within the past 85 years.
