On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” New York City Health Commissioner Dr. Dave Chokshi stated that while COVID cases and test positivity have seen steep increases, “we have not seen the same thing with respect to the markers of severe disease, particularly hospitalizations.” And hospitals are currently in “a solid position” with hospitalizations well below the peaks from the spring of 2020 and last winter.

So, he has to call in the military to shore up the lack of professionals in the hospitals. Let’s remind everyone why there is a lack in the hospitals. Before it was beds to use, now it is people to staff. What a crock - they continue to create problems and then say they are trying to fix it. The fix does nothing; but I guess the effort is what counts - not results. Someone needs to tell every boss or customer I have had that is how it works.
I guess what happens is that just as they are ready to march him out, he says he needs to go to the bathroom again.
