Donning my tinfoil hat I’m thinking Manchin switching to Repub could be a Dem plan.
Think about it, the Rep take control of the Senate and immediately the Libs and their media punks begin blaming everything wrong on the Rep who are in charge.
I put nothing past the Left scum....nothing.
I actually wonder if the dims feel they would be better off if Manchin becomes an R and flips the entire Senate.
As is, dims are in line to get blamed for everything since they own the House, Senate, and Presidency.
If Republicans were to own the Senate, dims could say “great things were going to happen, but we couldn't get it done because Republicans seized control of the upper chamber and prevented us from yada, yada, yada. You must elect more dims and get rid of the gridlock . . .”
“Then the GOP would take control of the Senate and all the committees.”
Manchin wouldn’t have to join the Republican party to cost the Demwits control. Just leave the Demwit party and go Independent with cover from the Post Turtle. That would give the pubbies a 50-49 advantage and control of the Senate.
Joe Manchin is 74 years old with probably one more term left in him. The democrats may want to rethink their stategery with regards to Manchin.
