Socialist in Seattle survives recall, and is more dangerous than ever
MSN ^ | December 21, 2021 | Jason Rantz

The recall campaign was bruising. Both the recall supporters and Sawant defenders spent roughly one million dollars each. The Kshama Solidarity Campaign set up pop-up tents around the district to convince voters to print, sign, and submit their ballots against the recall. This tactic, along with ballot harvesting, is legal in Washington state. Some Kshama supporters were accused of bullying and intimidation against those who openly supported the recall.

“survived” ms a**

She was at a 4% loss election night.

Then gained enough “mail in votes” afterwards to earn a 4.1% surge and “survive” by a 300 vote lead.

That’s cheating and election fraud by any definition.

You aren’t going to vote your way out of this. Let this be a warning to the rest of us.

Election fraud? What a novel concept. Will they be allowed to get away with it?

Looks like that state has set up it’s own course for failure & it is being followed quite well apparently. Once I wanted to go there; maybe even live there. Not any more.

Vote harvesting is legal in Washington state, as it is in California. Has been used to "fix" elections for years.

Actually, I don’t think this is a bad thing.

Across the country, we do not want the blue zones to be put out of their misery too soon by “moderation.” We need them to figuratively burn to the ground.

This is why I don’t want Biteme’s #s crashing too quickly where they might panic and replace him. I want a slow death spiral to 2024 where Trump gets 90m votes or more.

The remaining small businesses in Seattle should be planning their exit strategy now.

You are absolutely correct. And it’s well past time people realize that.

People also need to realize that resorting to the courts to uphold the law it’s also not going to work.

Why in heavens isn't the GOP playing the same game then? We keep surrendering. It's maddening!

Who are the people who vote for this communist piece of s***? I'm sure there was plenty of fraud. It seems there are always just enough "late and mail in" ballots to put the Democrat over the top, but there were still a number of people who actually voted for her. Do these people think there isn't enough violence and looting? are the concerned that they aren't paying enough for for things? Are they worried that the violent crime rate hasn't gone up enough? or is it that they're are still too many high paying corporate jobs in the city that they want to see go away. Or maybe they thing their taxes are too low and want wealth generating business to go elsewhere so that they can get hit with the full burden of the city's corrupt "social spending"? Or maybe her voters are hardcore welfare parasites who contribute nothing to society, live of the fruits of the labors of other, and want an ever larger share of what other people worked for.

Thomas Sowell

"What is your fair shar of what someone else has worked for?"
Apparently her voters feel that their fair share is all of it.

I was in Seattle in 2007 and it seemed a nice place then, but I wouldn't go there now if I was given a free airline ticket, free hotel accommodations, and $500 a day to spend.

Why in heavens isn't the GOP playing the same game then?

GOP officeholders are clearly scared. Scared of whatever power is behind the Left, driving the fraud. We don't know what threats of violence have been made against Republicans who dare to look too closely into the mechanics of The Revolution. We do know the legal system will not back up individual Republicans who do so. A few like Rand Paul dare to say the right things - but none dare to do the right things.

The only hope is a Republican House majority led by a real Speaker and Majority Leader who will use the power of Congress as the Founders intended. This means impeaching, convicting, and removing every single corrupt Federal judge, officeholder, or administrator who dares to stand in their way.

We were close with Newt Gingrich in 1995. Official Washington was scared to death the GOP was going to unilaterally zero out the budgets of every corrupt agency the GOP had been criticizing for decades. But they got to him - and he and Clinton were soon acting like old pals. The Contract With America was forgotten - the opportunity was lost.

I agree. The only way out for these people is going to be through. Our role is to make sure the decline and fall is thoroughly documented.

I understand there are conservatives in Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles County, San Francisco, etc.

I feel sorry for them. But I want these cities brought to their knees, til they resemble Carthage after the Romans. I want their influence and power destroyed, their economies minimized, and their political clout hamstrung.

Then we might be able to rebuild them. You know, “build back better?”
