Almost all of Taiwan’s computers, personal tracking phones, security cams, cell towers, network routers, phone home to China. The only purpose of old school spying, then getting caught, is meant to demoralize further Taiwan’s will to fight, which wasn’t much to start with. Taiwan spends 2% of GDP on their national defense, which is below the global average, mainly to free up funds for socialism. Per Taiwan’s own citizenry, Taiwan isn’t much worth saving.
