Former President Donald Trump said Sunday that China should pay reparations for its role in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Trump, a leading figure within the GOP, told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that the communist regime should be held responsible for its role in helping spread the coronavirus.
“China has to pay, they have to do something,” said Mr. Trump. “They have to pay reparations and China doesn’t have the money to pay those reparations.”
The former president argued that if the worldwide damage of the coronavirus was properly estimated, China would likely owe upwards of $60 trillion.
“I believe that worldwide, I’m not just talking about the United States, but worldwide [its] $60 trillion of damage,” said Mr. Trump. “China doesn’t have $60 trillion, but they have to do something to make up for what they’ve done.”
“What they’ve done to the world is so horrible,” the former president added. “It’s been horrible all over the world and it doesn’t stop.”

Short of conquering China, this is a stupid thing to say.
That is one dangerous boomerang he’s throwing around.

Meh, he’s just (rightfully) bringing attention to who is responsible. The $60T is for the whole world. The rest of the world might just want their share.
I’m sure the $60T is a strategically chosen number.
It’ll never happen, but it will be interesting for everyone to talk about.

Confronting China is what got the deep state mobilized. If Trump runs in 2024 with a stated agenda to confront China, the deep state, big tech, the media, and most politicians will align against him.
Judging by some of the comments above, I think the WEAK SISTERS are beginning to be stampeded into anti-Trump beliefs.
I'm not sure I'd say "everything" ... but on the things that matter? HELL YEAH.

He’s right they need to be made an example of once is to much for them to get away with murder.
Maybe because Trump would double their tariffs on imported Chinese garbage products.
He put the squeeze on China before.
He could put the death grip on them by moving a significant portion of manufacturing to India?

BTW, notice the trolls hanging around. Yesterday a few were on the cootie threads to spout off and then run. Demanding links to stories, etc.
I think it is journalists who are fishing for stories and have discovered this site, since a lot of whats posted here is actually searched and posted, then they will take that information and create their story online or on some other media.
