There are always varying degress of natural immunity to any virus, depending on the state of the host, the prior exposure to the direct pathogen (or pathogens in the same clade or family of virus).

The problems in late 2021 are multi-fold: there has been no true, determined, scientific inquiry that could have and should have folded natural immunity into every statistic and every study from Patient Zero forward.

In fact, natural immunity has been purposefully excluded, except for the persuasive Israeli study published in late August, 2021; and a few other lesser studies.

Which of course did not stop the South African researchers who discovered Omicron (which should have actually been named "Xi") from immediately pronoucing it capable of evading natural immunity (of course), in tandem with -- remarkably -- also revealing Omicron wasn't actually making anyone very sick.

Shortly thereafter, more dominos fall as Moderna and J&J ended up conferring nearly zero immunity against Omicron; Pfizer providing some but only if you get six boosters and sacrifice a chicken; and AstroZeneca sidelined in the US after mostly banned in the EU as a pure dice throw of a clot shot.

So what you have in mid-December 2021 is a variant that is a less-harmful merger of Delta and Beta, (in competition with the symptomless sub-Delta "Delta Plus" AY.4.2 in the race to usurp Delta), courtesy of a long-haul SaF AIDS patient likely on PrEP, and the Biden Administration too cocked-up to make any useful hay out of the whole thing, other than to self-pwn by promising "a winter of disease and death" evoking Monty Python's "Bring Out Your Dead!" -- so poorly received in Democrat overnight polling that the Zombie is now forced to make another everythings-on-fireside-speech-this-is-fine again tomorrow LOFL.

So if Trump wants to get a booster because he comes in contact with so many people, why does it matter to anyone else?
