In the interest of accuracy, this was Trump's personal COVID cure:

Regeneron's REGEN-COV2 monoclonal antibodies (8g - twice the normal dosage at the time but now this dose is best practice for his weight/age)
Remdesivir
Dexamethasone (just one dose)
Also pre-existing regimens of zinc, vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin, and a daily aspirin.

The President felt bad for 24 hours leading up to Walter Reed, and after receiving all of the above, was fine 48 hours later. There is some debate just recently that the President actually was sick somewhat longer, but after the REGEN-COV-2, Trump was released 2 days later and did not want to spend even that 3rd day.

So the difference between the natural immunity provided to someone who rode out COVID on the rough (me, Dec2019, before we knew what it was) and Trump getting the COVID KO combo is probably not insubstantial, unless the story the ComPost flogged two weeks ago is true at least to the extent that President Trump was sick for a week instead of the official version: "Tested positive Thursday, Oct. 1, and was taken by helicopter to Walter Reed less than 24 hours later"? Then I would believe he has a shitton of natural immunity.

Monoclonal therapy provides the antibodies that defeat the virus. Your own immune system isn’t involved and doesn’t get trained to produce its own antibodies. This isn’t like recovering from covid on your own where you do acquire natural immunity.
