He had Covid during the campaign and said at the time his doctors told him that he had developed natural immunity. He was pushing the shots because he felt like getting them rushed to market was one of his great achievements. And at the time they came out they were worthwhile for older folks and people with comorbidities.

But something happened along the way... Covid started mutating as experts warned from the beginning that it would. The “leaky” vaccines assured the variants that thrived would be vaccine resistant. The vaccines do not work as advertised anymore. They have now failed but there are so much political capital and so many billions of dollars behind them that they have a sort of momentum that is causing governments all over the world to continue forcing them on people.

It is very sad that President Trump is unable to recognize this. His unwillingness to face the facts on this is going to seriously erode his support. In the past he has been able to think on his feet and recognize and solve problems.

President Trump is human—and he has made a very human error.

He is traveling “outside his lane”.

Hopefully the vaccines won’t cause him any harm.

I think there is something going on that is not in public view at this time. President Trump is far from stupid. There’s something else in play.
