Good luck and God speed.
To infinity and beyond!!!
I quickly skimmed over the headline and thought it said
“Webb Hubble” telescope
My mind was thinking NASA Hubble telescope but my eyes combined it with the Webb
LOL
This will be the most nerve racking launch of any NASA craft ever. There are so many things that could go wrong with this telescope, with no repair possible if things go south. Prayers are appropriate.
Hopefully, the Webb and the Hubble telescopes will always read with 20/20 clarity!
It’s Hoody Doody Time!

Wait a minute....Webb and Hubbel? Something doesn’t quite smell right.
Its going to take 161 days after launch to get the entire system 100% on line and functional. There are over 300 things that are called “single point failures” such that if that one thing does not work, the mission will be a failure”. I listened to a speech by the JWST project manager and somebody asked him “How do you sleep at night” he answered “I sleep like a baby. I wake up crying every 2 hours.”
While the telescope is amazing, getting it built and ready to launch has been a hair-raising boondoggle. Ten years late and $20 billion over estimates, launching on a French rocket from a third-world country with its labor problems, being shaken while mounted on the rocket, and going where no one, except perhaps Elon Musk, can fix it, it’s been a roller coaster ride.
I sure hope they have been keeping all the joints of the thing lubed up and moving freely. Been stashed away folded up for how long now?

Mission hold!
The choice of an Ariane launch was no doubt political. I hope it doesn’t turn out to be a mistake.
Probably will be okay. Unless Jeff Bezos sues NASA for not picking Blue Origin.
Let’s hope & pray that there won’t be a NOMAD/Tahn-Ru collision incident between the two, or we could be in real trouble…
amen and prayers from HSV
I won’t believe it until I see it. LOL

Shortly after launch someone remembered they forgot to take the lens cap off....
