Not all, but many religious and otherwise "churchy" folks of the fifties were convinced Rock and Roll and transistor radios were the devils' tools.

Those .45 records could project un-holy images into the minds of American yutes.

WW2 Europe was aghast at American swing and jazz and actively fought against it.

The vehicle for all of this was electricity, the pre-cursor of electronics, the parents of the cyberworld.


History in a nutshell to chew on.

They weren’t wrong about rock music.

Much of it isn’t morally upright in terms of the lyrics or the sexual danxing it evokes.

Even fhe term rock and roll refers to a car bumping around because a couple is having sex in the back seat.

Lets not sit here and play innocent about it.

Further there are even branches of satanic rock that aren’t actors, but real satanists. Most rap music is deliberately angry to get people in a violent fighting mood.

You have to be careful what music you listen to. Not all music is equal.
