we've had yrs without snow for Christmas...

I remember as a child in upstate NY that we had rain for Christmas and then on Easter Sunday we had a beautiful snow and we went outside sledding....so that was 50 yrs ago.

FTR, we have snow here in Eastern Washington and very cold temps now....

I grew up in Ohio, and I can count on one hand how many white Christmases I remember.

My dad said the same thing, and he's obviously old.

Oh, it's always cold in December, just not always snowy.

January in Ohio is a different story. It's almost always snowy or slushy.
