And as bad as the USSC has been, I don't think that they would support that crap.

Trump had already left office when the Senate was debating their trial. And there is a crowd of scholars saying a President can be impeached after he left office for things he did while in office.
I’m not saying it would succeed. I think it wouldn’t. But they could definitely try.
