My best friend since 7th grade started an internet marketing company that he is getting ready to sell for $50-60 million. He made $1.8 million last year in salary and bonuses. He smokes a lot of pot.

Good for him. I know a bunch of heavy pot smokers who have made lots of money. The problem is that I am old enough to see the toll that it eventually takes. They almost all have psych issues, that can be pretty severe along with other health problems like varicose veins and other circulation related issues. And if they smoke it their lungs are eventually trashed.

This is not unlike alcoholics many of whom outlive their non-drinking acquaintances. Look at Dick Van Dyke and a lot of other celebrities. Many drop dead at an early age, but some like Dick keep going on fora very long time. Of course, he stopped drinking long ago after being an alcoholic for 25 years. Heredity is a huge factor.

I smoked probably at least as much pot as anyone here, and it has had no noticeable negative impact on my health. Once I quit smoking cigarettes, all the respiratory crap, the hacking cough, the sinus infections, all went away. My lungs are perfectly clear.
