If Covid was as bad as what the powers that be wanted it to be, people would be dropping like flies. Thousands of people at football games, very few wearing masks (that never worked anyway, in reality), millions not vaxxed, and all they can do is scream “new variant, more deadly that ever!”. It’s absurd. And while I’m on a rant, does it bother anybody that one of the vaxxes is now being recommended against use? That a short term serious side effect is just now being publicized even though informed people have been hearing about for months? If they didn’t know about a short term problem, what could they possibly know about long term effects? Rant over.

Once they had this great tool for accumulating power they ran with it. They had tried various fear-based schemes before - nuclear winter, global warming, etc. None had really gotten any traction. Personal, immediate fear worked though. We are now living in occupied territory. We are ruled by unseen powers through a dementia-addled puppet using un-Constitutional powers.
For me, covid is over. Masks are over. Vaccines are over. History. Any business wants me to wear a mask, doesn't want my business, I'll go elsewhere. Anyone tries to force a vaccine on me, I will consider that a deadly threat and respond accordingly. That said, I don't expect I can exactly return to "normal" as in 2019 behaviors - yet. Too many others are still buying into this excrement. I expect it is going to get worse before it gets better.
