I had a shooting range in my high school, located under the gym. It was a required course to graduate. Back then the teachers nd admin would come out to see what weapons we had and show off their own. I even had a gun rack in the back window of my VW beetle. Funny, we had guns and ammo EVERYWHERE, and not a single school shooting.

Guaranteed if you were in an "urban" school in, say, Chicago, where the highschoolers are about to graduate but are completely illiterate, if guns were available people would get shot and die horribly even if the shooter was surrounded by fully armed soldiers. That's how impulsive Urban Youth are nowadays.
