Very possible. Our military is no longer into Sgt. York types. They prefer Transgender / LGBTQI recruits now days.

Definitely wouldn’t want anyone in the marines who is principled, rational or unwilling to be completely enslaved body and soul.
They must be obedient men on a leash who fear their masters. Obey. Submit. Yep, that’s a heckuva fighting force.
