It’s obviously to get a reaction, and drive public opinion in certain directions. It’s just unfortunate when so-called ‘journalists’ fail to do any basic research, or publish stuff they know is shady or outright wrong.
I agree, news and journalism are dead. algorithm’s have allowed them to print multiple narratives to specific targeted groups without infecting the regular citizen. They are attempting to use targeted groups to pull everyone center.
