Gov. J.B. Pritzker said he won't provide a specific date for when he'll lift the statewide indoor mask mandate in Illinois. Pritzker was asked Tuesday about a possible sunset date for the statewide mandate, but the governor declined. The governors of New York and California have set end dates to their mask mandates. Pritzker said Illinoians will continue to follow the science.
"I just want to encourage everyone to keep doing the right thing, we are in Illinois and we are going to keep doing it. Following the science, I might add." Pritzker said. Pritzker said masks help keep people safe amid an increase in cases and hospitalizations. "We can't set an end to this mask mandate because we need to keep people safe," the governor said. "We need to stop pretending masks don't work because they do."

Very few masks in play here in downstate IL.
I live over 100 miles west of Chicago, and most here don’t wear masks anyway.

My wife and her self adopted older “sister” have relatives and a lot of friends living an hour out of Chicago to the Iowa/Mo. borders.
None of them are masking nor following orders from fatso~!
I live an hour northwest of Chicago. He has demanded every company with 100+ employees get vaxxed. He’s got OSHA involved in enforcing his commands.He’s up for re-election next year, as all governors are, and he will keep his job thanks to the Chicago machine that controls the entire state.
I live somewhat close. It’s too bad the GOP in this state is a bunch of wusses.
What we need is our own version of Donald Trump.
I have no idea who that might be.
