There is all kinds of gas in PA, WV and Ohio, yet they will not allow new pipelines. MA buys Russian gas when supplies are tight in the winter. These people will one day figure out that their glorious leaders are treating them like serfs.

Yep, use Natural gas or some other form of carbon to generate electricity, transmit to NYC, run through transformers to an electrical heater, losing energy in each step. Great plan!
