I believe Ohio is an open carry state except in autos. If I’m not mistaken, the Ohio Senate passed a bill for constitutional carry meaning open or concealed.

It is Open Carry. It’s rare to see it in Cleveland, but lots of CCW licenses in the county. Even though you have to wait up to a year to get one issued by Cuyahoga county (Cleveland). You can get one issued by any adjacent county surrounding your home county. I got my first one from Geauga County. The last one I renewed this year in Summit county. Walked in, took 10 minutes, no appointment necessary. Five weeks later, the new license was sent to my home in the mail.
It’s not difficult to get. Just have to pay to take a class. They can cost hundreds of dollars. Once you take the clkass & pass the test, you never need take it again.
Getting rid of any requirements makes us freer I’m all for it.
