A felon out on parole using a gun in a crime was bailed? I don’t get it.
Unusually bail is still allowed so long as the criminal is not an active threat or the crime isn’t considered capital enough. (EG Rittenhouse) But usually the bail is set commensurate with the crime. That used to be true until last summer when those poor poor people who held up gas stations and robbed people couldn’t afford their bail like rich people could.
