These Cigarette Racers’ powereplants are what I used to build 3,700hp engines for, back in the late 70s, “Rocky” Aoki (Benihanna Restaurants) was one of my customers; he died in 2008-09.

Although I was into Hot Rods as an upbringing, I was fortunate enough to have had a lot of time on the river playing with drag boats. :)

That’s a helluva Rooster Tail!
That water’s got to be like glass, or the drag boat’s airborne and disintegrates coming back to the water surface.

Lol, yep... Easy to become an aircraft real quick. Lost a friend that way. It turned into an aircraft and flipped over backwards. He didn’t tether to the boat per safety regs and they could not find him until it was too late. He was unconscious and under too long. Had he been tethered they could have got him right away by pulling the tether.

Man... They have some of those regs for a reason...

I tried waterskiing *once*, and got the shit beat out of me as I forgot to let go of the rope handle. Once was enough. And you’re right about the concrete road rash!

As I said, “Once was enough” for me.
You’ve got more guts than I do, in that area.

I imagine sucking at the teat of the NFL is a lot like french-kissing Nancy Pelosi.

I dunno, maybe that word association will help some of our erring FRethren.
