Last summer when the riots kicked off I had a lot of first time buyers coming in and telling me they never wanted a gun before but wanted one now.
The places around here, Chicago’s suburbs, were cleaned out almost all of last year; ammo, too. It was only over this summer that they’ve been able to keep handguns in stock. We have some conservative areas here, but a lot of places are solidly blue, and it was that group of people who emptied our armories. First-timers.
Now they get it; how important the Second Amendment is. But self-protection from crime is only half of its importance. It’ll be a matter of time before they learn the other, and more important, half: Protection from government.
What was the go to for the first time buyers? Glocks? Wheel guns? Shotguns? Seems that buying rush has slowed significantly. Are you seeing any of those buyers trying to sell their firearms back?
Did you sell them one? Liberalism is a mental disorder and the mentally ill shouldn’t have guns.
Feeling a bit of shadenfreud here, watching the morons live through the destruction of society they themselves caused. Not even registering a bounce on my sympathy meter. Maybe they should contact there governor’s office.
