He’s a moderate kind of radical, as opposed to being a radical radical.
Translation: his Leftist principles end at the point where his own personal safety and property are endangered.

While this may not be his translation. I think reality crashed with fantasy and reality is starting to win. He will fight against recognizing it but cracks are forming. The left is finally starting to live in the Utopian they so desired and they are finding they don’t like it.
