Cult of toughness? What is that supposed to mean? Are we the ones who march around with clenched fists all the time? Are we the ones who march around with black masks all the time Are we the ones who burnt down dozens of businesses and government offices last year? Are we the ones who shut down speakers we disagree with? Are we the ones who attack photographers and journalists? David French has gone psycho. I don't think National Review will last another five years.

When a Soy Boy like David French talks about toughness, he does it in a derogatory sense. David French likely views it as "Toxic Masculinity".

I prefer to think of "toughness" as a positive thing, and more like what Jordan Peterson outlines in this part of an interview he had where he talks about how men should strive to be "dangerous", which totally befuddles the interviewer, but I know exactly what he means.
