I live in Baytown. The Baytown PD is a mess. An officer shot an killed a mentally ill woman who allegedly got control of his taser. He shot this woman while she was laying on the ground at least 10 feet away. This city government was shocked that the cop was indicted for second degree murder. That’s how out of touch they are.
The family hired Benjamin Crump to represent them in a civil action. I have zero love for Crp, but approve his participation in this case.
I have my own federal lawsuit against the city for violations of my constitutional rights. It won’t be easy because the Federal judges in Houston are mostly corrupt, but I don’t quit.
I offered one of the assistant city managers to teach the Baytown PD officers how to properly write traffic tickets for $50,000. He was a friend of mine and asked what it would take to make my situation to go away. Told him the city would have to pay me $50k and fire the municipal judge and prosecutor. He refused so now it’s going to cost much more.
I forgot to add that Harris County lets murder suspects out with little or no bail.
