There is no lockdown in Vietnam now.
That said EVERYONE wears a mask, and immigration is still on hold, it (could) start to open up at New Years (western) January 1st.
Yesterday there was a decrease in new cases, which is about the first since October, when they re-opened everything.
We’ll see how things go, whether that is the start of the end. Don’t know yet.
I am so ready for this to end.
Basically everyone is still hunkered down, until cases really start to fall.
I watch a youtube sailing channel where the young couple planned to sell their catamaran and are having a trimaran built in Vietnam. They were supposed to be in Vietnam to oversee the build back in August but were derailed by COVID and had to put it off until next spring.
