I got this reply to one of my posts on a different thread to my question as to what AMMV means, as I haven’t got a clue. Below is the exchange, first by Buttons12, followed by my reply to Buttons. So, I’m asking if someone can tell me what AMMV means. Thanks for the assist:

Actually, I have no idea what YMMV means. Your reticence in telling me what it means indicates to me it is probably an insult of some sort, although I haven’t got a clue. I’ll ask Freepers on a new thread what it means, as you won’t reply. If it’s such a common meaning, according to you, I’m sure a Freeper more knowledgeable than I will tell me its definition.”
I had no clue, so I typed it in search. May mean American Merchant Marine Veteran.
No idea what AMMV means.
YMMV means “your mileage may vary”, or don’t know how it will work out for you.
