Before this hour, I hadn't heard anything about this. Could you please point to a source(s)?

It actually appears this is a false rumor, as explained here and here.

Thank you. I am presuming that is correct, which is good. I was going in part on a video interview with a surviving family member IIRC.

Indeed. Health insurance functions as it does.

What will remain uncovered, to my understanding, is that individual (or representative of, as in a POA) who is unhappy with treatment and leaves a hospital without the approval of said hospital. Insurance does not cover that. Or?
