Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis comes out with a five-point workable plan to get around Biden on illegal immigration

The more you look at Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis, the more you like him.

Here's his new plan on how to deal with Joe Biden's open borders policies that have brought the surge of illegal aliens into the country, in a neatly presented, effectively communicated Twitter summary:

The failure to secure our nation’s border is affecting communities across our state & nation. Today, I outlined additional proposals for consideration in the next legislative session that will protect Florida from the Biden Admin's reckless border policies

It's impressive, frankly for multiple reasons.

First, as noted above, it's effective Twitter communication, fearlessly getting the word out and summing up the precise details for all to read quickly.

Second, it's well in tune with what Americans are most thinking about in these days of Joe Biden's failed presidency.

According to the Washington Times last Dec. 7:

The survey, conducted by OnMessage Inc. from Nov. 19 to Dec. 3, tested a wide range of hot-button issues among more than 4,000 registered voters and found surprising areas of consensus.

Some 80% see rising inflation and supply chain issues as a "crisis." That notion spans party lines.

About 70% of voters say the southern border, which is experiencing an unprecedented surge of illegal immigrants, is in "crisis." That, too, spanned party lines.

That percentage is huge.

It's a poll result that echoes what's been seen elsewhere: according to the University of Texas in one of its public sentiment polls last June, (illegal) immigration rated number two, behind political corruption/U.S. leadership, as the top issue to voters.

Has Twitter announced yet when DeSantis account will be terminated?

DeSantis is the best candidate for President in 2024.

He’s young, and we still need him here in Florida. He won’t even be in his 50s when 2028 comes around. Let’s give him a chance to hone his craft for a little bit longer.

Biden treats illegals better than U.S. Citizens.

“DeSantis is the best candidate for President in 2024.”

Your loyalty should be with the one who “brung you to the dance”, Donald J. Trump.

DeSantis is my FL Gov, and we need him here. He should be Prez in 2028, after 4 years of Trump cleaning up the mess in our Country caused by Biden. Trump knows where all the bodies lie. He will clean out the Swamp as he is really PO’d at having the 2020 election stolen from him. He’ll be merciless to Dems this 2nd time around. Revenge is sweetest when served cold.

Trump was the greatest President of the 21st century.

He can do enormous good for decades as a warrior for freedom of speech and America First policies and I look forward to being a part of his media and technology empire.

However, I believe that DeSantis is the best person to lead the country as President, and that the country can not afford to wait until 2028 to elect him as President.

For those reasons, I support having him run for President in 2024.

I agree. I just moved down here, and I’d like to have him around until 2026.

The JAG lawyer with a Harvard Law degree is going to save the Republic from the bipartisanly supported Deep State coup? Have we lost our minds?

I’m a fan of DeSantis. Happy to vote for him for governor. But we have to realize Conservative Inc. (funded by the GOPe) is going to push him hard as an alternative to Trump. They want to fracture the MAGA coalition and isolate Trump. We must not allow that to happen.

We went to the same high school. He was a year ahead of me, and his little league team played my brother’s team every year for 5 years. He’s a hometown hero for sure.

Would be interested to know where he’d put his presidential library if he ever made it that far. Lots of beautiful locations in the Tampa Bay area.

Remember we have 6 year gubernatorial terms, so he’ll be around with us until 2028. Just in time for elections.
