The cases of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus have increased by 60 percent in a single day in Denmark, where 1,280 positives have already been confirmed in connection with this new SARS-CoV-2 mutation, which was first detected in South Africa.
Denmark, which is characterized by a higher level of sample sequencing than other countries, had only 18 cases of this new variant a week ago and on Thursday the preliminary balance was 796, according to statistics from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases.
The director of this body, Henrik Ullum, recognized that the variant was already spreading “very quickly” in Denmark at this point in time, which is why he asked citizens to get vaccinated. The vaccine “is currently our most powerful weapon,” he said.
Ullum has acknowledged that some evidence suggests the Omicron variant is better than others for drug protection, but is confident that completing the vaccination schedule will at least serve to protect the population from a severe COVID-19 picture.

Yep, so far it hasn’t revealed itself to be deadly. But it’s early in the spread. Let’s hope it continues to be mild as more elders are exposed.

Not only that, but it apparently confers natural immunity to other variants.
It's a benign version of the virus that immunizes those who who get it, and is unusually contagious.

So, what does that mean? I keep hearing tested positive but what are the consequences of a positive test? We never hear about just what that means. We are left to assume that because of a positive test WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!
Yes, I don’t buy that.
