but DJT was by his record the most productive President in modern history and perhaps for all time

Donald Trump ran the greatest campaign in history and for nailing the coffin shut on the Clinton criminal enterprise, I will be forever grateful.

Donald Trump is the only politician that I ever donated money to.

Once he got to the White House, however, he fired all the MAGA people who helped get him there and surrounded himself with swamp creatures and Javanka. I'm still waiting to be impressed with his SCOTUS picks. He singed gun bans. He could've pardoned Assange, Snowden, and everyone involved with 1/6. Instead, he pardoned Kwame Kilpatrick and Rod Blagojevich. He lost the House. He lost the Senate. He discouraged people to vote by mail and lost his re-election. Yes, there was fraud but there was also his personal behavior that sent suburban swing voters back to the Democrats.

If he is the nomineee in 2024, rest assured I will crawl over broken glass to vote for him, for the third time, but until he earns that nomination, I am keeping my options open. And right now, I am very impressed with Ron DeSantis, a man I also had the privilege to vote for.

Much of what you say is true but I was referring to his accomplishments such as the border wall, the really amazing economy (I am an investor) leading to historical low rates of unemployment among ALL minority groups and record setting wage gains. His corporate tax cuts made us competitive with the rest of the world and his willingness to take on China (successfully) was something no other politician had the guts to do. There is more but you get the point.

In the area of appointments he was at the mercy of Republican advisors since he knew about as much and probably much less than you or I do about who are RINOs and who aren’t.

His learning curve as a totally inexperienced person in the ways of Washington was steeper than any had before him and he was subject to backstabbing continuously. Things said by his family indicated the extent of the surprise he felt at how treacherous these people could be.

Like you I would do anything necessary to vote for him should he run but I would certainly be happy with DeSantis and am very impressed at what I am seeing so far. Trump is to me the real deal, a man who really wants to do the best for his country rather than past presidents who all seemed to become very wealthy while being in the office. Trumps net worth declined close to or even more than 1 billion dollars during his 4 years in office.

“He could’ve pardoned ... Snowden,”

Snowden didn’t want to be pardoned by Trump. He said he hated Trump because of some stupid reason like you can’t buy love or something. So screw him. He was the impetus for some earth-shattering revelations, and I appreciate that, but this level of TDS is disturbing. It’s like he’s saying, “I’d rather be an exile from my country forever than take something from Trump.”
