So they have to go back to the days before the vaccine to make their talking points?
What’s the percentage since August?
Here are some data on deaths involving COVID in the state of Michigan compiled by the National Center for Health Statistics (based on official death certifications reported to the NCHS by Michigan health authorities). First, it bears noting that, according to the CDC, some 85.9% of the population of the state of Michigan, age 65 and older, has now been vaccinated, while some 58.3% has received a so-called "booster." Of course, in 2020, no one in the state of Michigan had yet been vaccinated.
Let's start with the 65-74 age cohort, comparing the (pre-vax) months of June, July, August, September, and October 2020 with those same months in (post-vax) 2021 (i.e., with October 2021 being the most recent months where we have close to complete data from the state).
June 2020 - 71 COVID deaths / June 2021 - 93 COVID deaths
July 2020 - 43 COVID deaths / July 2021 - 30 COVID deaths
August 2020 - 55 COVID deaths/ August 2021 - 117 COVID deaths
September 2020 - 55 COVID deaths / September 2021 - 219 COVID deaths
October 2020 - 120 COVID deaths / October 2021 - 338 COVID deaths
****
Now, the comparable figures for the 75-84 age cohort in Michigan:
June 2020 - 70 COVID deaths / June 2021 - 83 COVID deaths
July 2020 - 47 COVID deaths / July 2021 - 35 COVID deaths
August 2020 - 74 COVID deaths / August 2021 - 90 COVID deaths
September 2020 - 69 COVID deaths / September 2021 - 199 COVID deaths
October 2020 - 175 COVID deaths / October 2021 317 COVID deaths
****
And, finally, the comparable figures for the age 85+ cohort:
June 2020 - 108 COVID deaths / June 2021 - 56 COVID deaths
July 2020 - 59 COVID deaths / July 2021 - 28 COVID deaths
August 2020 - 77 COVID deaths / August 2021 - 90 COVID deaths
September 2020 - 66 COVID deaths / September 2021 - 166 COVID deaths
October 2020 - 217 COVID deaths / October 2021 - 244 COVID deaths
You are comparing deaths under the original covid variant against the more deadlier Delta variant.
Not apples versus apples.
(”I was really hoping that we’d (all) get vaccinated and things would be back to normal,” said Sefton)
The sheep 🐑🐑🐑 will never figure it out.
🙄🙄🙄🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄🙄
(Remember “two weeks to flatten the curve? And “Until we get 70% vaccinated”? And then “When we get herd immunity”? And then “When every one had gotten their booster shot”? How many idiots will line up for booster shots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7? Does anyone actually believe that 7 booster will be enough to get back to “normal”.)
Should be posted on every vax thread.
The union’s on strike at that hospital so that might be a factor
________________________________________________________________
AHA! There ya go. Disgruntled union workers have been infesting the hospital with COVID-19 boogers on all the doorknobs, bed rails and mask dispensers.
They need to stop shooting people up with poison and calling it a vaccine.
The more shots, the more dead. Any questions?
The ONE thing we haven’t tried is HERD immunity. Zero side effects. Its FREE. No medical care services required.
Instead of “omicron” people would be saying “what pandemic”.
Instead of the “new normal”, we would just have “normal”.
Sure, we would have to break a few eggs, but “they were going there anyway”.
