Are Republicans really going to put the worst candidate possible forward in order to lose the election?

After botching RFRA, I’m not sure he could win the primary in his home state

Pence shouldn’t be able to win dog catcher at this point. Sadly this means he is elite GOP material.
FMP and Mitchy
My biggest issue with his Presidency was his personnel choices, So awful it was almost sabotage. This is where those “Jevanka” guys probably have a huge point.
I mean Trump hired Karl Rove ffs. Granted that turd since fell off the planet, but still.

Some of his 2022 endorsements are as bad as that dumpster fire cabinet. Trump needs to find new handlers or invest the time to personally research these people he endorses.

Pence seems as bad as Romney these days. Almost like a train wreck everyone bottlenecks for to get a view for a brief moment.

Perhaps he could be followed around by a group of Minstrels?

Naa. 8 years ago we thought Jeb was going to be our candidate. Unfortunate thing for Jeb is that the Republican base gets to vote in Primaries.
So, nothing different here with Pence.

My wife and I both received multiple emails inviting us to the NH Republican dinner this past week featuring guest speaker former VP Pence. The first it popped up on my phone I literally Laughed Out Loud. I think I received two more invites. Meaning, they are not selling tickets.
I saw a clip of him going into some bakery where there were about 10 people around him.
Pence is delusional IF he believes he has a future. All Trump supporters IMHO view him as a traitor. We are the core voters of the party. He would be lucky to get 5% in the NH primary. He is toast.
To: RandFan; All
I forgot to mention the price for the dinner with Pence was $1000/plate.

Pence was one of Trump’s worst mistakes.
It was not a mistake for the general election. Many of us had concerns about Trump because he had NO record, had formerly described himself as "pro-choice" on abortion, and gave money to hard left Dems like Ted Kennedy.
Trump's selection of Pence, who had solid pro-life bona fides at the time, and a history at both the executive and legislative level, helped show me that Trump's talk about being pro-life wasn't empty. He had my vote, but his selection of Pence helped remove my reservations.
I have no use for Pence now, but at the time it was a sound choice.

Pence was a weak governor and an establishment animal if ever there was one. Bad choice from day 1. And I’m a staunch conservative.
