Germany’s incoming government, led by the center-left Social Democrats (SPD), were pressed to clarify their foreign policy priorities at a press conference on Tuesday.
Having officially signed a three-party coalition agreement, Chancellor-designate Olaf Scholz and the rest of his Cabinet members are expected to take office on Wednesday after a vote and swearing-in ceremony in the German parliament.
Scholz put Europe in focus as he fielded questions on Russia, China and the United States alongside Greens co-leader and incoming vice chancellor Robert Habeck as well as Free Democrat (FDP) chief and incoming Finance Minister Christian Lindner.
Strengthening the European Union on the global stage — and making sure Germany is part of that process — was of the utmost priority, Scholz said. […]
Scholz was notably less direct when asked to clarify his policy towards China, instead saying that working with the EU and the US would be the most immediate priorities. …

“These include the inviolability of borders. It is very, very important that no one digs around in the history books in an effort to redraw the borders,” he said. “Therefore, it must be very, very clear that it would be an unacceptable situation if a threat to Ukraine would emerge.”
Meanwhile, the EU itself has the redrawing of borders as its very basis.
So this week the blockheads said they want to abandon the Nuremberg code, and now they are threatening Russia.
Glad we ended Nazism. /s
” “Therefore, it must be very, very clear that it would be an unacceptable situation if a threat to Ukraine would emerge.””
Said the German....without the slightest sense of irony.
“Said the German....without the slightest sense of irony.”
It sounds more like a warning. If other countries want to play the borders game, then the Germans might too.
Well this time Herr Scholz won’t have to go to Bosnia to raise a Muslim division in his coming war with Russia. Thanks to the Merkel legacy he has more than enough Muslims in Germany to form multiple divisions.
Time to get out of NATO, bring all the troops home and wish them all well.
LOL, with what?
Russia, u better not do anything or we will be forced to have America spill its blood and use its treasure to protect us!
Yes yes...the country that has no essential military capability, refuses to meet it NATO oigations and is completely dependent on Russia for energy is not very threatening...go back to your beer,Hans.
How long did it take Germany to remilitarize the last time?
Dude, give it up. Their men are cucks watching moslems rape their women in their own streets. Their Army is a joke today.
And in any case, The friendly part of Ukraine is 500 miles east of Germany. The area of conflict is 1000 miles to the east. The Germans should really just STFU. Nothing that far away is their business. And there is no way they are sending German soldiers to eastern front battlefields.
They got a brutal ass-kicking last time they went east, and now they would need a gigantic program to even become a shadow of their old self. And then one other thing, they really going to attack the largest nuclear power on earth?
I would bet a paycheck that if Germany attacks Russian forces on eastern front WWII battlefields, Russia would decide it was time to just nuke their crazy azzes once and for all.
They won’t tolerate Krauts coming east again. That is just over. That is literally their biggest reason for their nuclear weapons, to stop the invasions from Europe that have devastated them too many times. Any future invader gets his home vaporized... and probably his gas cut off that winter too.
