Not surprising. The Dutch are very liberal, as a group. At least, the last ~several decades.
Only fairly recently has any pushback been seen from the likes of their Party for Freedom or similar. However, it may be too little, too late for them.

I guess times have changed them. the ones I knew were all very straight-up people and quite patriotic about the Netherlands too
