The spread of the Omicron variant of coronavirus appears to be doubling every two to three days, Prof Neil Ferguson has said, adding that it could be necessary to impose new lockdowns as a result.
Ferguson, a member of the UK government’s Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) and head of the disease outbreak modelling group at Imperial College London, told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on Wednesday that Omicron was likely to be the dominant strain in the UK before Christmas.

The Leftwing Guardian revives the “career” of the freak-o Neil Ferguson who was disavowed as to almost all of his claims on covid prevalence and much else. No- he’s now been rehabililtated.
This: “On 5 May 2020, it emerged that Ferguson had resigned from his position as a government advisor on the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) committee after admitting to “undermining” the government’s messages on social distancing by meeting up with a woman.The UK Telegraph reported that the woman had visited his home at least two times. After resigning, Ferguson said “I acted in the belief that I was immune, having tested positive for coronavirus and completely isolated myself for almost two weeks after developing symptoms”.

I don’t know this guy from Adam, but seriously? When our mayors and speakers and governors have no problem whooping it up in clubs and fancy restaurants and hair salons?
I tried to scan through the story and see if they even mention the severity of the symptoms. Nothing there. Just cases. I wonder why?
There is no way that hundreds of thousands of swabs are being cultured to verify Omicron presence. Just more bull droppings from the vax pushers.
What’s the acne case count? Acne can be serious, too.
But this is a good thing, right? It means a less severe version is taking over and outcompeting as more severe variant.
